50$ cashout fee at betphoenix. Standard?

    hey,

im relatively new to the sportsbetting business. i have dealt with lots of poker sites though.

i made a deposit of about 9k to betphoenix and after running it up to about to 10k they limited my betting amount so i decided to move the money to another bookie. after requesting the first cashout of 4k and gettin a confirmation via mail (saying i have my money within 24-72h) i heard nothing for about a week.

so i talked to live support :

is that standard in the bookie business? i really dislike the idea of paying ~125$ fee. esp considering that i made the deposit via moneybookers and they pretty much force to use neteller now, which has a higher fee.

    thoughts?

Every book has different fees for payouts, there really is no "standard" per se. Some sportsbooks are obviously more reasonable with their fees than others.

Not to be an ass, just trying to help, but this really is something you should check before choosing a new sportsbook.

I paid $25 for a 2K moneybookers last withdrawal there, I din't mind, it cost them a bit too.

At one time Richard said everyone gets a free payout a month, you can try e-mailing him and see if he will waive the fee. richard@betphoenix.com
