I have recently read a bunch of people on here complaining about 5Dimes website being down. Yes, I agree it is irritating when I try to log onto 5dimes and it does not work, however they literally have a dozen alternate websites and one of them is ALWAYS working. Just ask customer service for their alternate websites, they look identical to 5dimes website, and have all the same options available.

Why do I like 5dimes? Because I get my money the next day 100 out of 100 times, and when I request alternate methods it is within 5 days tops. They have never once delayed a payment to me. I mostly deal with the online chat reps, who are always friendly.

I have never spoken with "Tony" so I can't speak on that subject. I have been wagering online just about 10 years now, and this is by far one of the safest books. If you want to get paid, and paid quickly, play at 5dimes. There is no reason to risk your money at a lot of these other websites. I am sure a few other books are similar, but I personally prefer 5dimes to BetJam, Bookmaker (who by the way calls me every single penetrating day... desperate). Others I have tried... Intertops, Legend, BetPhoenix (Went downhill sooooo quickly).

What are the alternate sites I can use? Because YES IT IS VERY ANNOYING WHEN YOU CAN'T GET ON, LIKE NOW. I only know propbet.com, which also isn't working.

I am brand new to this web wagering. Though I have been sports betting for 50 years, and my father was a bookie for 50 years (I grew up in the business) -- I experienced BS today with 5 Dimes that I have never heard of before? First, on straight (line) bets on NFL -- the juice is more than 10%!! I placed a $100 bet - an the confirmation page said: "you just bet $135 - to win $100" Huh? I have never heard of such a thing. I called their new customer hotline 3 times and nobody (and I mean nobody) could explain why this was. They all repeated the same thing: "That is the way it is and all online sportsbooks do this." HUH? WTF? I called my father who used to work at the book at the Riveria in Las Vegas. HE HAD NEVER, EVER heard of such a thing. I don't understand how they have such a high rating? Also, the "reduced juice" that a new player is eligible for does not "automatically" happen (as they purport). One must click special buttons to get the reduced juice.

Also, when betting parlays -- the line is different than the "normal" straight betting line!

Finally, the frozen web site created an awful experience. I had to spend 4.5 hours and make 12 phone calls just to place 6, total, bets. My first experience with 5 dimes has been awful.

Finally, the web site froze up 6, consecutive times on me! How an organization with web sites that are overwhelmed by bettors is rated so highly is beyond me?.
