Bookmaker Renege on valid bet - Help !!!! $278 in winnings taken !!!

Last night I used the live bet option on bookmaker to place several bets on NHL games and NCAA Games. The heaviest bets occurred on the Sharks vs Coyotes game. I placed 3 bets on the sharks to win with a line of -140. They are listed below... The bets they are Renege on are the last 3 Sharks bets. I placed these during the duration of the game. They claim they are invalid and were placed during the game, I didn't argue they were placed during the game since they were place with the live wager system. I do argue they were indeed valid and they did accept the bets at the time and they did pay me on them. I then took action by speaking with online chat which didn't work so well below you will find the conversation with the rep. In the second chat session I finally decided to call the wagering department the and spoke to a man named Johnathan. Johnathan was not much help and claimed the person who was in charge of the wager had left and was best call back after 7 am PST..He also tried to argue the bets were not placed using the Live wagering system. So I called the wagering department and spoke with another lady who was not much help and claimed I needed to email the live wager department to get a straight answer and place my dispute. I am very turned off by the lack of clarity they and explanation of the issue. Before I take the next step and email I was hoping someone here would have to advice to help ensure this fair and honest bet is paid. I have never had such issues with them in the past but after their current level of service I am disgusted with the actions or lack thereof which have been taken.

Are you positive you were logged in to live wagering and not the regular book? If so they should pay you.

RBL in the wager history means yes it was via the live betting interface. If it wasn't it would say NHL.

I live in the eastern time zone but Im guessing it is stamp PST ? The game was tied 3-3 going to shootout. And yes the RBL means live betting...they initially paid me on the bets but then when I checked later on that night I notice they took them back...

The real question is: What time did the game end?

It appears that the game may have been decided at around 9:44 pm, based on how they graded the wagers.

File a dispute with SBR and have them investigate.

Thats the thing, had the shootout already started when you placed them bets or even was it over - the price of -140 looks about right for the Sharks before the shootout started, so for me the only reason they could have for past-posting (assuming they have a reason) is that the shoot-out had already begun or was over.

That was my first thought. Past posted with live bets may mean the game was over or that an event occurred that meant the odds were erroneous.

Bookmaker inadvertently left the lines up on the live betting of the Coyotes Sharks game and they were still there after the shootout ended.

It is obvious by the OP's bet sizing that he made those last 3 wagers after the game was already over:

First 5 bets listed were for $15, $15, $30, $5 and $15. Then all of a sudden within a one minute time range he bets $40, then $100 and then $250.

Bookmaker has EVERY RIGHT to cancel those wagers and if he did the same thing at 5 Dimes, Tony would disable his account for good.

Blades, you took a shot and got caught. Be thankful Bookmaker is still allowing you to bet with them.

I can assure you bets were made while game was in play...I bet small on prop bets to add bankroll and fun but had large bets from 50-100 earlier in the night and took these lines for the shootout...I just showed these small bets as to show activity ..here is an example of other bets so the amount doesn't show any significance...

Blades, were those 3 wagers that were reversed by Bookmaker all placed BEFORE the shootout started or while the shootout was "in play"?

Your average bet size seems to be between $15 and $30 and you chose to bet almost $400 on a coin flip style shootout. The evidence you presented is OVERWHELMING that the wagers you placed were past post.

Bookmaker's limits are huge and while those $400 in bets are a big deal to you, they are considered to be very small by Bookmaker's standards.

I had more than 800 in 2 sittings of blackjack earlier one for 500 loss and a 300 win sitting...as stated I bet randomly and you can see there is no pattern to my bets or style.I loaded up on Pitt even after then line moved..didn't win but shows I have no pattern

That or he is just like most people who keep doubling down and hoping for the best, and usually end up losing it all

Exactly. As soon as I saw his betting pattern I could see OP was just taking a shot. Not to mention those last 3 wagers were all made within a minute and were all for the same exact wager, just increased amounts. He obviously saw the lines were mistakenly left up for wagering after the game was over. He thought wow let's try it and see what happens, hence only betting $40. Once it worked he increased his wager size and wagered again.....then drastically increased wager size once more and wagered again.

If the pattern of his wagers wasnt obvious enough, the fact that he bet the same side 3 separate times all within a minute and all for drastically increased stakes each time just makes it a slam dunk case of past posting IMO.

It is the Bookmaker's obligation to manage the live betting, not the player. If there is a dispute for small money, as this one it THEY SHOULD JUST PAY. Any old time BM would pay and take it from the idiots that screwed up on their side, if they did screw up. Petty BS.

According to NHL.com, the game started at 7:07 PDT and ended at 9:45 PDT.

Unfortunately Blades, I don't think you have much of a case. Or if you do, I'm not sure how you'd prove it since your bet was made at the exact same time as the official stats say the game ended.

This guy deserves the "ODDSMAKER" treatment of having his total account balance seized for creating this thread whining that his "fair and honest" PAST POST bet wasn't paid off.

Blades, whether its a past post wager or betting on an obviously bad line, we have all taken shots from time to time at books and the majority of time, the error is spotted and the appropriate action taken. However, you are the first to create a thread whining over a past post bet being reversed by the book.

I'm not sure which is worse, you creating this thread or Brooklyn Dick's post saying your past post bets should be paid.
