    WSEX Sportsbook player reports payment; slow-pays update

    A WSEX (SBR rating D-) player reports payment. The player received a $600 payout on February 18th, 2012. The player was waiting for his funds since December of 2010. He tells SBR that the payment has successfully cleared his bank. SBR has removed the player's name from the list of WSEX players owed.

    On January 24th, SBR reported a WSEX Sportsbook statement regarding the payment delays. WSEX blamed the extreme delays on US banking laws. WSEX claimed that the financial backlog was expected to be completed by September 2012. The last major surge of WSEX payments occurred in the fall of 2010, when players reported receiving $124,617.

    SBR has 137 WSEX withdrawal complaints on file. Players have reported being owed $760,854. WSEX management is no longer communicating with SBR.

    $1000 - requested end of sept 2011. told to expect another payout next month. that would be from end of dec. 2011. at least they are still sending out payouts. not fast enough but still it's something.

    i was sort of expecting something around around the superbowl period, but nowt.
    they recently closed down their world poker exchange.

    I'm still owed 3k for over 2 years now. Literally been lied to by WSEX 100's of times. A true sleeze-ball organazation. The sad thing is people are still depositing there cause approx. 10% of a books depositors actually read these forums. Most find these forums after they're having trouble getting paid. fyi....people were constantly talking shit about not being paid on WSEX's poker tables so they decided to shut them down a month or so ago.

    I can't believe these guys aren't rated an F. So all the book needs to do is pay a tiny fraction of their customers to avoid an F rating?
