Thanks for the reply. I do understand that the more deposits and the longer the player signed is better but what I hoped to find out was for example. If 10 players signed up to my site how many of the 10 players should I hope to retain as good active players. Keeping in mind that a lot of players will sign up for the free sign up bonus .

I think that depending on your bonus terms, then as a new company you would probably see at leat 8 out of every 10 signups will just be there for the bonus, until you build up some sort of reputation.

What you need to be looking for is a unique selling point, or give your signups a reason to keep betting with you in the future (retention bonus, reduced juice etc) but even then you may still struggle to retain many players for the long term - even more so in the present economic climate where the majority of the world is broke !
