Question about betpoints and miles on bookmaker

I see that I can get 10k or 20k or more miles depending on how many betpoints I have. I have a question, what do they mean?

For example: how many miles is 10k miles? If I wanted to go from NY to France, how many miles would that me? or is it valued differently like 10k miles = $500 plane ticket...

    anyone knows?

At Bookmaker, they offer to exchange miles for points so you can use them on your frequent flyer program. Since these programs may differ from one another, they would only give you the points. To get 10k miles you would need 54k points (if you are a gold member). Check the exchanges here http://www.bookmaker.com/sportsbook-...y-program.aspx bly clicking on the "frequent flyer" thingie

You would have to contact your airline company so you can find out how the miles work with you

It would make sense that 1 mile = 1 mile in distance, however I doubt that's how it works and it's probably a huge rip-off with lots of restrictions.

Generally, you need 50k miles (check your airline's FF program) for a free round trip (excluding airport charges) between US and Europe.
