I often wonder the same thing... right after I wonder why I bother posting here so much.

Actually, we both already know the answer... to your question at least.

I wasn't really complaining. If you read my response again with an open mind you will see that.

But as a customer, I expect to be told the truth. I've checked in a couple of times and am just told, 'check next day.'

Part of being in ANY business is meeting your own claims. If you claim 3-5 days, and it is significantly past that, you need to reward your customer with something, at the very least a very detailed explanation. And reasonably, a free play or a free payout. They charge pretty ridiculous fees for A*C*H's, so if they are severely delayed based on their 3-5 business day time frame, shouldn't those payouts be free?

And it is just a matter of expectation. I don't even remember what an A*C*H costs, I think it was 80 bucks? I expect that if I'm charged 80 bucks for something, that it should at least be as described. You know it doesn't cost them $80 to send out a batch of A*C*H's, but it'd be fine if they were meeting the 3-5 day time frame, because buyer beware, that is what I purchased. A 3-5 day A*C*H*.

Guys- I know everyone has seen my post about 5dimes since I've been a member. I ordered a check on 10/17/11 which Wells Fargo, Regions, BkofAma will not cash or deposit. I just got off the phone with accounts dept. manager and she said for everyones check that is not being cashed or bounced they are doing stop payments that can take up to 3 weeks! I also requested an A,C,H on 10/17/11 that still has not arrived in my account. After letting the manager know how pissed I was she started to give me more explainiations (excuses). She says that they are having alot of issues, seems like alot of financial ones. I was told to wait until 11/3/11 and then call back to see if the funds have been returned.

I'm starting to feel like the money was never sent. Ive been told for the last week, everyday by C.S. that the money would hit my account that night! We are all just being lied to by 5dimes pure and simple.

Just to be clear, my comment wasn't directed at any specific poster.

Priskilla, nothing wrong with anything you said in a perfect world or a vacuum, but that's not the reality of the current environment. Also, the relationship between books and 3rd party processors is not as close as it seems you believe it is. When there are issues, it truly can take the book a little while to find out what's going on with the processor and then find a solution.

Correct John, everyone knows 5dimes is putting money into these processors accounts to send out A,C,H and checks. The money obviously is not being put into the accounts. 5dimes is giving everyone the run around. Tony Williams is acting like he doesnt even know what is going on with his processors! lol bull shit he paid that processor to work under 5dimes..

Everyone knows 5Dimes is putting money into accounts? You know this for a fact? My guess is that ALL the books have been getting killed the last 3 weeks and ALL the books have lost heavily recently. Outside of the Ravens upset loss; tons of the most heavily bet favorites have been winning and covering the past 3 weeks including most of the Sunday and Monday night games. No surprise there are slow payout complaints. It also won't be a surprise when more upsets like the Jags-Ravens game begins happening and the books begin to win huge. To me it is a concern when great books like 5Dimes begin to have payout complaints

My guess is that 5dimes is not liquid enough to cover all of these and is using a stall tactic. It is unfortunate if that is true.

Here is the basic problem that all off shore books have, other than the regulatory problems with the DOJ. Say I run the casino at Caesars Palace. My casino has a sports book, and just about every other type of gaming imagineable. The sports book takes a hit, like it has for the past several weeks. All I have to do is tighten some slots and raise the minimum plays at some of the tables and I can pretty much make up for my sports book losses. Off shore books do not have this option. It is nearly impossible for them to make up lost revenues if they take a major hit, so they have to resort to stall tactics when paying out in hope of recovering some of their losses before they actually have to pay out the winners. If they stall you for 14 days, that is 14 days of action they have to try and recoupe their losses.

Obviously I don't like waiting 2 weeks, but then again for some of us, this money isn't gonna put us out on the streets, it's just some extra spending money, so as long as it doesn't take 1 month to get here, it isn't gonna bother me a ton.

Different methods involve different processors, issues, etc. Clearly they are having issues with one method but not the other *right now*. This will almost certainly not always be the case.

All im saying is i've been paid over 30k by them in the last 6 weeks. I'm just hoping that the checks i've deposited in the last few weeks don't bounce. I think i would know by now. As far as my $2300 ***************, i hope it hits today. And if it doesn't i hope i don't have to jump through hoops to get that back into my account so i can pull it with a couple p2p's. Other than that, i've got 90% of my money out and i'm going local after this. It's scary that a reputable book like this is having issues. I'm done with online books for a while. I'll check the landscape in a few months after the NFL is done, which i think is whats causing the major issues being the volume of withdrawals.
