    How much time did Gary Kaplan get sentenced for and how much did he serve?

    Looks like he was sentenced to four years in 2009 so my guess is he is still in prison...

    He had a bunch of time served when he made that plea. From what I recall he was released to a pre release halfway house maybe about a year ago and was to spend 6 months there. He's probably been completely free for a few months now. That would be my guess.
