    any sports.com horror stories?

I am new to this board but I want to know how this all sounds to you. Maybe typical.

So...I have been gambling on football for the past two years using BETUS mostly. This year, I used sports.com not knowing very much about it. Later on this board I read about all the Jazette/sportsbook.com problems.

I just used them because they processed my ********** and many online betting companies don't let you use a ********** debit.

So....turned like $45 into 3000 off 11 straight bets. I'm sure that may sound like a lie to many of you, I wish it was if only to not have to deal with sports.com.

11/25 took out withdrawals of $500 and $2500. 4-8 week ****ing wait, fine, whatever, that's kinda bullshit but I'm willing to wait.

Finally, with only the $500, I find out my address was "undeliverable". No courier funds for me

So, no $500 with the $2500 still waiting to be processed. So, I basically yelled at a customer service person to let me use ***********/QuickTracker. They said fine, even though normally I needed to be signed up for six months (I'm sure some of you or many know about this).

Right when I thought sports.com customer service was clear that I wanted a *********** for the 2500 and the 500, I get a fun message today from them.

e: We are pleased to inform you that your withdrawal requested on 11/25/2008 for $2500, has now been processed. The funds are being sent to you via Courier to United States. Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery.

You can now check and track your own withdrawals from the "My account" section of the site. Simply log in, click on "My Account" and then click on the withdrawal history link. Once you have done this your full withdrawal history will be displayed.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! NO NO NO! Coincidentally they only processed it now! Waited six weeks but processed it now. After I had said I wanted the money in a ***********.

So right now I'm waiting for the entire 3,000 to be refunded back into my account so I can put it in my ***********.

Does this sound familiar? I really ****ing hate sports.com and them not even telling me about the undeliverable check until the last ****ing minute. I have no "rep" there and it turns into this ****ing nightmare where nothing is concrete, everyone seems like they have something different to say to me at any time.

Feel free to add advice or whatever. I think finally I may be on the right track to getting my winnings but I recommend never using sports.com or if you do, make SURE you get a ***********.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum

Your not the only poster enduring processing headaches from this book. In fact the entire Jazette family of books have been suffering some massive processing delays for roughly about a year now (give or take). However I it does state on their website it may take up to 8 weeks before receiving your funds, so don't give up hope sir.

Right, I have read those threads like I think many others here. The problem with them was kind of a processing problem (4-8 weeks is way too much), but they did process it.

First, they said they couldn't find where I live via courier. And didn't tell me until the 10-15 business days expired.

I imagine they would have never said anything or months later, I had to find out that info by calling.

When I did, I had to be an asshole about the whole thing knowing they couldn't send me a check by courier again for any of the withdrawals. But it seemed to work and I set up a quicktracker/use my wallet.

It also says $20 for that free, but it turned out to be 50 on QuickTracker. That's shady and shitty, but fine, anything to get the 3000 to me as soon as possible.

The thing that really annoyed was that TODAY I find out the 2,500 has been processed. After six weeks of waiting. Today. Now that might be random.

But really, what f-ing luck. And with BETUS, I have lost money to them. But I have a rep and feel like he would have communicated with me as to what the **** was going on.

With sports.com, if I talk to one person and then another person, I will and have gotten two different answers.

They're a shitty sportsbook and once I get the money, they can go **** themselves.

And, yeah, to wait 8 weeks (!) after this after waiting from 11-25 until the payment...I will fight that as hard as possible. I was lucky to even get the *********** option from them, I think (I hadn't been with them six months or whatever).

But they are shitty with their customer service. And I'm pissed.

Any other horror stories with sports.com anyone would like to share?

i don't blame you for being pissed, but people who use these jazzette books do so i guess because they easily accept ************, with the greek or betjam , yes you have to drive to **, but a 10 or 15 minute drive, or maybe 1 hour drive , is better than this ,IMO

    hope you get paid

Welcome to SBR Brian. It may have been a smart move to call those funds back. Sports.com and sister book checks have not been clearing for some players. Hopefully that method works out for you.

It sounds like you are familiar with Sportsbook.com disputes and confiscations. The group tells SBR they are currently revisiting these complaints.

Update: Right now, they have already sent the 2,500 via courier. Except that the $500 that was sent last time, I never got it.

So I don't really trust or expect to get it (I also live in an apt where you would need keys to get inside my building; I don't see how a courier would even know where to leave the mail in this case) but right now there are two sort of decent saving graces, even though they both suck.

    1. The 500 that was supposed to be sent 12/15 is I think coming back to their "processors", I told sports.com to just put it back in my account so I just can put it in ***********. This may at least happen within the week, hopefully.

    2. Obviously there is a slight chance I may get the money via courier and if not, the money will go back to them after I guess three weeks so that it can go back in my account.

Better than waiting two months for a stop and trace.

This shit is terrible, though and I feel like most people have a story like this. Sports.com didn't do anything especially evil but bad timing and really shitty, uncaring customer service= annoyed, pissed customer.

Anyhow, we'll see. Anything else I could have done?

I have been trying for months to obtain a withdrawal. They always need more information and there is always a problem with what I send, or they say all is fine and they a month later find a problem. I don't know if they are selling the information or why it is so hard and takes so long. I am not sure whether to give up, the hassle might not be worth the money, maybe that is their scam? I don't know if they are crooks or just incompetent, but a very bad experience even if I do eventually get back some of my funds.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum

The entire Jazette Enterprises Limited family of books have been having some massive processing issues for about the last year or so (give or take a few months). Also, they do state on their website that it came take up to as many as two months before receiving your funds. I do know that some players have used a ewallet called [SBRFORUM]***********[/SBRFORUM] to obtain faster payouts in the past, but I'm not sure what the procedures are in place in order to obtain such a request.

Update: Got the much-needed 2,500 and got it in six weeks. That is long as hell, but...they don't lie about that, you do or should know what you're in for at this point if you bet there.

I ended up running a good streak only to find out about the 4-8 weeks thing. BETUS I have used before and they have some controversy but the few times I won they paid out within two weeks. 4-8 weeks....well I'm lucky I set up a ***********.

I still will probably never bet with them again. I still have $500 tied up with them; a check for $500 never came to me (yet the 2,500 did; a source of frustration for sure) and now is in bank hell. I don't know when I'll see it and neither does sports.com

I have spent many frustrating weeks dealing with them. They weren't really crooked with me, but they were incompetent and I felt like I had to shout/threaten them into moving faster with paying me. I didn't really want to do that, but it felt like that was the only way to make them move quicker with my money or give me assurances that things weren't completely messed up

On this forum, you see a lot about sportsbook.com and BETUS and Bodog, but I still want to hear from more players about sports.com.

They seem like a really really bad book.

    update sports.com

After much going back and forth, suddenly it was approved and then handled very well. I got weekly emails with and update, the check was mailed and couriered and I got it quickly and it cashed fine

I won't be back due to the delays, but I was pleased that it was eventually handled well and suddenly resolved. In fact this experience has soured me on sports betting, I'll stick to my gambling in the stock market!

    thanks

I am currently in the process of a withdrawal. I just started a thread about it. I will detail my progress in that thread. and did your check bounce? or was it cleared without problem.
