I am new to BetOnline. Yesterday was my 4th day playing with them. I've spent a bunch and won a bunch...but my token 1st place prize for the week was $406.27, won in a tournament. Doesn't sound like much, but every penny counts.
Last night I decided to try out the sit N go tourneys. I've had a blast playing the larger tourneys, but I felt alittle lucky and thought I'd try a one-on-one. Ha!! That was a joke.
#1. I entered the tourney for $200 bucks for a chance to win $400 bucks.
#2. The person was already there waiting....so
#3. I said greetings and started playing.
#4. Almost every hand I played I lost....and I'm a very good player. Most tourneys with larger tables I end up no less than 19th place or so with 200+ players.
#5. The play was super-fast with no "waiting & thinking" period for the "other player". I didn't even have time to think because my ticker was going down fast and I felt very rushed. BetOnline scammed me out of my $200!!
#6. I decided to ask a question...since I was sitting there sweating (literally) from having to play so fast.
#7. I asked "Are you a real person or a machine player?"
#8. No answer. Never did answer for the whole 15 minutes at the table.
#9. So that tells me my money went to the robot...all $200 bucks of it.
#10. If there was a disclaimer that said the one-on-one tourneys were against a robot, I would've never played. Ohhhh! But then again, I guess they don't want to tell you that.....
#11. I will NEVER play at BetOnline again and all my friends that play will hear about it. I've heard that Bodog is a good place so I'll try them out.

I loved playing at BO and I was having so much fun, but take it from me....if you play a one-on-one tourney, BEWARE. If they robot that game, they might do others.....like the BIG TABLE tourneys! I'm still mad.

i never talk to other players when i play so i guess i'm a robot too. what you said was just stupid and makes no sense just because the player didn't type anything back to you doesn't make them a robot. some people don't talk when they play like me because they concentrate on playing and winning. what a dumb thread this idiot just created LOL

There is a possibility it was a bot - but it doesnt necessarily mean that if it was that it was BetOnline's bot or that they were even aware that a player was using a bot -if that is indeed what it was.

Dont forget a lot of players will multi-table and play a lot more that just 1 game at a time, so people like that will be experts at making a quick decision one each game as soon as it flashes up on their screen - I dont know what the max multi-table games at a time limit is there, but I believe some sites let a person play over 10 games at the same time, though some might cap at 4 or 8 at a time (I havent really multi-tabled at more than 2 at a time before so not 100%). Also, if a player is multi-tabling then they wont have time for chit-chat and there is even a chance that they wouldnt have even seen what you asked them in the first place if they were just focussed on the cards each time.

Finally, about losing nearly every hand, this can be explained by a crappy run of cards - even if a player was using a robot, then the robot doesnt cheat and automatically give them the best hand, all it does is play the hand that is dealt in the best way in which to play it...

could have been a BOT but probably not betonlines. There are programs people buy to make their own Bots, and a most Bots are horrible. They are pretty much only good for grinding out bonuses at low stakes tables.

pretty sure bookmaker's blackjack with gnet uses bots.....and the poker as well.......played a sit and go table with bookmaker's poker.....opponent didnt think at all.....just like the OP is saying.....you never really know.....thats why i now stick to racebook and sportsbook online and poker/blackjack at the land based casinos.
