Sportsbook.com player offered bonus to cancel payouts

Sportsbook.com player offered bonus to cancel payouts

A Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-) player owed $10,200 reports being offered a bonus to cancel his outstanding withdrawals. The player's first payout request was made for $1,250 on July 9th, 2011. On August 25th, that request was cancelled and placed back into his betting account. The player was told that his next payout request would be treated with a higher priority; the same promise given to fellow Sportsbook.com (ag) players that also filed sportsbook complaints earlier this month. The player reports that he made another payout request for the initial $1,250 plus $250 more on August 25th. In addition to that request, the player also has outstanding withdrawals totaling $10,200 which were requested throughout August and into September. The player notes that he has also received the bonus promo emails asking him to cancel his payouts in exchange for a cash bonus incentive. Sportsbook Review has written Sportsbook.com management asking for an update to this complaint.

    bigboydan,

This is the third of fourth thread with the exact same issue in the past wee, and we are still with no comment from sportsbook.ag.

Does SBR have any pull with them at all? It seems like they don't give a shit about responding to the SBR complaints.

Sportsbook.com management addressed this complaint yesterday stating the player would be sent a consolidated wire for $10,200.

The player confirmed the funds hitting his bank account today - we're updating our report, and are waiting to receive confirmation on the three similar complaints.

    Sportsbook.com pays $10,200 to player

    UPDATE to 9/22 Sportsbook.com report:

A Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-) manager addressed the complaint reported by SBR on September 22nd, where a player stated that he was offered a cash bonus in exchange for cancelling his pending withdrawals. The player had five payout requests pending for a total of $10,200, with the earliest request outstanding from July of 2011. This was the fourth similar complaint from a Sportsbook.com (ag) player this calendar month. SBR reached out to a new management contact within the Sportsbook.com group and received confirmation that a consolidated payment was sent to the player. The player confirmed receiving his funds in an email to SportsbookReview this morning. SBR inquired on the status of the additional three complaints, for $24,000, $4,000 and $250 collectively — each of those players also reported being offered a bonus to cancel their pending withdrawals. The manager stated that he would be looking into those complaints.

SBR will update this report as new facts develop. | Sportsbook.com bonus email to players

Because there are new sports gamblers everyday and most don't know about sites like SBR.

They're very aggressive with advertising, which explains why people use shit books like sportsbook.com and BetUS despite their many thefts.

Depending on what bank you use, what bank they use, and what bank it went through in the middle...the difference in what you requested and what you got is probably fees out taken along the way. If it was converted from one currency to another, that would've been a fee too.

I'm a longtime player at their books. You need to tiptoe around with them, but I haven't had any major problems. I wouldn't endorse them, but I definitely wouldn't call them a scam book either. There are many that are far worse.
