    Betathome GBP deposit

Bet-At-Home.com: Hi, what can I do for you?
you: hi, i tried to deposit GBP from my **** card, why why my card is charged euro?
bet-at-home.com: because our company is situated in malta, therefore we work with euro as currency. So we always change the money to the daily exchange rate.
you: so i am charged £10.15 for a £10 deposit?
    bet-at-home.com: exactly

    Shocking

it is shocking because they don't work with GBP deposit but do provide GBP account. I assume they will charge again for with withdraw.

agree with you there.Legends the greek, betclic and so on all offer GBP accounts and don't charge you to convert to euro and then back out (or even bother). Why bother advertising a gbp account that is run in euros

Checked my card statement, that's actually £10.47 for a £10 deposit. I would guess a similar charge for withdrawal, so a 10% charge overall.
