Is this just one of those things that you say so that you can come back and pat yourself on the back later and say I told you so? Kind of like those guys who start a thread saying a big underdog will win, if you win your a genius if you lose who cares they had an 80% chances of losing."

Somehow in your post you make it appear that you are quoting me.
    I said none of that.
Everything you are quoting was stated by thegreen.

I quoted some of thegreen's statements in my 2 posts - but the majority of what you have in your post as "Originally posted by Scooter" was not even quoted by me and appears nowhere in my 2 posts.
The few sentences of thegreen's which I quoted are clearly indicated as quotes.

It appears you did this intentionally. Or you didn't bother to check your post once it posted, as you haven't bothered to correct this.

But I do know who first posted that Matchbook may be leaving the US (and was treated like crap for doing so):

However, what does that have to do with thegreen stating "Kiss your money goodbye", which is simply a guess on his part, not supported by 2 major examples, and which he can only backup by stating "Trust me", and "Believe me"?

its blatantly obvious you have no clue what your talking about...nor that you actually pay attention to the news and other reports...the DA office in NY specifically said AFTER the crack down, that ALL funds held by U.S players are safe and WILL be returned...yes this might take quite a while to do, but you will get your money...as a matter a fact pokerstars started cashing out U.S funds within the last few days...so educate yourself before you spread false facts!...your welcome

lol at all these people....sportsbooks are fine. The US cant do anything to them coz of these:-

1> They dont have rats revealing stuff like poker sites.
2> They dont have banks in US.
3> They dont advertise like stupid poker sites.

The only reason US were able to catch pokerstars and fulltilt was that they violated all above 3 things. Sportsbooks dont have any of the above issues. Sportsbooks will have little to no problem in the next 5 years....relax guys.

Then why have offshore books like Pinnacle and Matchbook stopped doing business with US customers?

Obviously as you observed I mistakenly quoted the wrong post I tend to not review quoted posts since I have no need to spell check what I did not write. I apologize for this mistake.

The need for your childish solution to my mistake by insulting me in another thread makes you appear very immature.

    EDIT:
After further review it appears that I did quote the correct post and SBR's software somehow added your name in the post. Post has not been edited view for yourself the post that was quoted was written by TheGreen you your self never wrote such a post.

Maybe next time you should wait more than a half hour before you go and insult somebody and give them a chance to figure out what happened.

They are the smart ones just like Party Poker left years ago and same reason why Victory Poker decided to leave US when the Feds moved in. They will get shut down and funds seized about as quick as you can say black friday and when gambling online does get regulated in States be completely shut out. Any Smart book that can be trusted would not accept US players as if they do they are very vulnerable of losing all funds held and believe me unlike poker where feds returned funds they will not as sports gambling is illegal in States.

The books will care less about paying us if they get caught in......The terms and conditions even say it in some cases.....lol In the US you need a local or be in Vegas. This post is just wrong. They shutdown processors and accounts all the time. Books just switch processors and continue business. This has been going on for a long time and the books are use to it.

We get it. You don't like the U.S.

Sportsbetting is legal in Vegas, just like poker is legal in select areas.

Because they didnt want the hassle with processors. Matchbook has new owners which changed direction...until recently they were available for US.

Players funds are always safe...if US seizes these sites...players funds will be returned. Dude, think before you open your mouth. Books like Bookmaker have been in business for 25 years....longer than any poker site.

I though for sure I would never see a penny of the funds I had in Netteller when that all went down.....It took a while but happened as promised. I guess the Feds have a small heart.

They should focus more time and resources erradicating Heroin and Crack and let the people decide what to do with their earnings.

If CRIS or THEGREEK go down its over. They reps don't seem concerned. They could be good bluffers, but I think we will continue to lose our ass. Nothing to worry about. Then again, if I was drinking cocktails on the beach & hooking up w smoking Columbian girls w smooth round butts, I'd be smiling too

Gaming is an easy target for the feds. They could probably shut the entire thing down just as easily as they did with the poker sites. The public doesn't care so much about online gambling. Even when the poker sites went down I didn't see news sites carrying the story, it got a few articles and mentions, but it was done with the next day. My prediction is that they can not shut down the offshore sites, but they can make it so hard to deposit or withdraw that it won't be worth it to play anymore.

There will be for all times ways to place a bet if you reside in the US. There is no way this will be shut off in the US
