You have to be very creative. You need to have "proof" that you reside in another country. Part of the proof will be that you need to get a VPN in the country where you "live", so that your IP will always show that you "live" there. I guarantee you that pinnacle is still giving new accounts to US citizens, as they gave me one. You just can't reside in the states. Like I said, just be creative.
It took me 4 months of documents back and forth to show that I was residing elsewhere besides the USA. These guys take this serious. It is expensive to relocate. Unless you are a minimum 5 figure player per month, I can't see it would be worth the expense. Having said that, if you were running 20-30k minimum per month thru Pinny prior to UIGEA then it makes sense to move.
If you aren't making a lot of money betting sports then it isn't worth while to setup a residence in another country. I agree Pinnacle is the best but if they catch you betting from the US, they will close your account and have every right to seize every dollar since you breached the terms and conditions. Unless you move or operate from another country with betting, banking, etc. all from that country, don't even bother!
BetFair you can't even place a wager from the u.s , when i was on vacation , it wouldn't let me do anything but look at the odds, i am canadian , not sure how about pinnacle if they block you from your location
