Ghana's last three goals in a World Cup have all come from spot-kicks, which is handy if it comes down to penalties. They have averaged only 6 shots on target in each game so far. The USA have shown some great spirit and were unlucky to have a perfectly good goal disallowed against Slovenia after fighting back from 2-0 down. They also ground out a 1-0 against Algeria.

I think the USA are stronger, more determined and will create more chances. The bet for me is USA to qualify as i'm not sure this may go into extra time.

    usa is a joke .

    MLS is where 40 years-old , has-been footballers come to retire .

    Ghana wins 2-0 or 3-0 .

Wow - the US is a pretty significant favorite. All the value is on Ghana in this one. No way I'd touch the USA at any price, it's freaking bloated to hell.
Also, Ghana's offense matches up very well versus the US defense. Ghana is def the play here.

USA has bandwagoneers latching on to their bumpers...

It will be funny seeing all the "fair weather fans" break their ankles jumping off the bandwagon.

Ghana played in a tougher group, and showed me a lot in their play.

From an unbiased, pure soccer standpoint, I actually like Ghana here. They are physically imposing and have the best team speed in the tournament. However, I am also of the mind that some sports matches are fixed, and that the USA is bound to advance here. So Im taking the USA.

I'm still leaning Ghana, the African team has to go on in this tournament.

If you basing your pick on match fixing then if would be the other way around. Tournament being held on African soil it would most likely be fixed for Ghana then the US. Besides Americans who really wants the USA to advance, I SURE DON'T

Look at this clown. If your son wants to play soccer are you going to call him a pussy? I feel bad for your family.

And what is up with all of the soccer fans who seem pissed that Americans are finding interest in the World Cup. I played American football my entire life and the NFL is my favorite sport to watch, but I enjoy watching the World Cup. When it is over, I am not going to be spending my days watching the EPL simulcast on my computer. I don't see anything wrong with that. As for the MLS, despite finding the World Cup extremely interesting, I have no emotional attachment to the MLS and the quality of play is not going to be at the level of the World Cup obviosly and I will not follow the league. There is only so much energy the average person can vest in athletic entertainment.

As for the game, Ghana seemed very composed in the back and I think it is going to be hard for the USA to score. I would lean Ghana, but will just watch and root for my country.
