    statistically in 10 matches played home , blackburn received one goal and scored one goal.
    astonvilla in 10 matches played away, they received one goal and scored one goal.
    so, i guess it will end 1-1 , a draw, but i`m tempted to bet o2.5 . what do you think?

    Aston Villa would win a match-up between these two even if Rovers had a full squad and Villa was missing a key player.

    Blackburn's manager Sam Allardyce could be without a number of key players for the Carling Cup semi-final first leg against Aston Villa at Ewood Park.

    Vince Grella (thigh) and Jason Roberts (knee) are ruled out through injury while Benni McCarthy (back) and Gael Givet (head) remain doubtful.

    El-Hadji Diouf is also absent through suspension with Blackburn looking to bounce back after losing 4-1 to Manchester City in the Barclays Premier League on Monday.
