I'm just going to go ahead and jump the gun here, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso are not going to get me a win or a push on the over total
This match should be more predictable, i hope.
Immediately i think of who is missing for Man City here, since they have players out in Africa. They are missing Kolo Toure and Adebayor, and have injuries to some starters such as Ireland and Lescott.
I am not too worried about them defensively, i think Blackburn are going to struggle to create anything. They have just 7 away goals this year and 2 goals against top half opposition on the road from 4 games, both coming at the Emirates.
Their away form reads horrible, 1-2-7, with the win at Bolton. 24 conceded goals is going to be a problem for them tonight, considering the form of Tevez. They have not won in 8 games, drawing 5 of those.
Under Mancini, Man City have done very well, they haven't conceded and have made the best of the injury situation. Benjani got on the score sheet last week and he may start again, and hopefully will revive some form to partner Tevez.
Head to head doesn't fill me with confidence but Man City have won 6 and drawn 3 home games.
After that ridiculous drawing run they went on, they have won their last 3 at home and i feel at worst they win by one, in theory it should be by 3 or 4.
My pick: Man City -1 @ 1.90 Bet365
