    Of course you should never bet more than you can afford to lose, but if you give me 2 relatively evenly matched teams, 78th minute and one side up 4-0, you can make huge profit with 1,01 odds. Bookies never offer this bet though.

    I think that was a rare case, one team being up 4-0 in the 80th minute then conceeding 4 goals, that does not happen often.

    Still kid is foolish for dropping his entire bankroll (4,000 pounds?) on one play with the worst odds in history of soccer betting.

    This African Nations Cup hasn't been kind to most of us here but that is just cruel...

    I'd hate to tell this guy I put £20 on the draw and 20 on the win when Mali scored their first goal but then he could laugh at me for betting on Algeria and Ivory Coast today African Nations Cup has been such a load of trash lately, hopefully it picks up

    A few years ago, there was this manc, who for some reason, posted on a Liverpool forum (ynwa) that he placed a £10,000 bet on Man Utd to beat Sunderland at home. United were trying to catch up with Chelsea for the league while Sunderland were on their way to the worst point total in a top flight season. I think they lost 30 games that year.
    He posted the betfair screenshot and Utd had some crazy low odds to win the game (1.08 or something around that).

    United were buzzing. They just beat Arsenal a few days ago and Sunderland arrived at Old Trafford with a caretaker manager and 11 points in 32 games.

    Sunderland were relegated after that game but...

    as far as i remember milan-liverpool 3-3 (3-0 halftime) . i don`t remember a game with such result 4-0 till min 80 and then the equalizer 4-4. weird ,weird match . i did win on it though , i`ve bet over 2.5 .
