    Algeria/Russia

    Algeria has every reason to play for a draw here , knowing it's unlikely that South Korea will beat Belgium and would probably still need to score 2 with goal differential. Russia has been disappointing offensively , but also not giving up much.

    Russia will be playing for a win , and if the offense can get synched , Algeria's defense won't be able to hold them off

    Expecting Russia to wear them down eventually and give themselves a chance to advance

    I can't see Russia winning here personally.

    Like you say, they've looked very average offensively while Algeria has goals in them and looks to be the more energized side.

    The smart play here is Algeria with these odds, regardless of outcome. If you're going to pick a winner in a coin flip game and one is hovering at +105 and one at +240, only a square would take Russia. Bookies love squares, I think you're the one bookies love.
