    Spain/Australia

Just wondering what everybody's thoughts were on this game. Does Spain play like they're capable of playing or are they just gonna lay down? Any value in Australia ML or draw? Thanks.

check this article out, most of the players are very unmotivated and the team is isolated.

Xavi is out as well in the GK position.

I think it's worth a small wager, if not take points for aus.

Thanks for the article. I was wondering if they would show some pride, but it looks like they're just going through the motions. Might put a small play on the Aussies +1.5 to be safe.

If Spain is fielding those younger players like Koke and Mata, Spain should be the play. They are the future of Spain and will want to show that they belong there.

Good point. Any idea if they're gonna get significant time?

If Del Bosque is really thinking of Spain future, he will play them from the start then sit the older players like Xabi Alonso and Xavi.

Just check the lineup before deciding your play.

No Cahill for Aussies due to the yellow so I think Spain takes this.

    Wouldnt touch this game
Australia playing young guns with lots of flare and pace + nothing to lose = will take the game on

Spain - how motivated are they? how much do they care?
this game could finish 1-0 to spain or 4-1 to australia
    who knows

If this is the case your saying its a toss up....how could there be no value to betting a +700 or +1.5 goals for Australia

Although they are both out, Spain has won 3 major titles in a row. They've been embarrassed enough. Some players look unmotiviated, which is why I think players like Cazorla, Mata, etc. could get the start today. Reina will be in goal. These players are the future of Spain for the upcoming World Cup/European Championship and they will want to leave Brazil on somewhat of a high. They will also want to send a message to the manager for counting on them in the first 2 matches, by putting in a Spain-esque performance.

I'm on the ML, and took -1.5 Spain in a parlay..

David Villa will want to prove to Del Bosque and the Spanish fans that starting Diego Costa was the wrong decision. I expect him to have a very good performance, and grab himself a goal, or two..

Spain is a big favorite in a meaningless game for a reason. They are a far better team and Australia is missing Cahill. I don't see anything that would convince me that Spain wont win this easily.
