If jordan concedes... u think they have any interest in playing block the goal anymore? Obv they will have to commit to gettin a goal and when that happens . Goalfest. Either gonna be scoreless or uruguay -1.5 is thr play

    Intercontinental WC Playoffs so far:

    2010
    Costa Rica v Uruguay 0-1/1-1
    Bahrain v New Zealand 0-0/0-1
    2006
    Trinidad & Tobago v Bahrain 1-1/0-1
    Uruguay v Australia 1-0/0-1
    2002
Rep. of Ireland v Iran 2-0/0-1
    Australia v Uruguay 1-0/0-3
    1998
    Iran v Australia 1-1/2-2
    1994
    Canada v Australia 2-1/1-2
    Australia v Argentina 1-1/0-1

Just twice in 18 matches a team won by 2 or more and both times these teams were playing at home.

Just saying huh, I'd never put a huge amount in games like this one.

Problem with ht/ft is that jordan might have the stamina to push uruguay off for 45mins and then collapse in 2nd half. Possible to maintain form n discipline at the back for a half but very hard to do it for entire match.

Hence i lean for the -1.5. Total goals zero for a hedge.

    Adding another stat:

road teams in WC Playoffs Qualifiers are 1W - 6D - 11L, being outscored by 13 goals in 18 total matches.

Jordan are unbeaten in 16 at home, that includes wins over Japan and Nigeria.I think Uraguay will just play safe and finish the tie in Montevideo.World cup playoffs are usually very cagey affairs so I think I'll bet the under 2.5 goals.

doubt this will be a goal fest this is a game over 2 freaking legs tactics will be important its a game of chess yh man if uruguay up 1-0 jordans going to run around like headless chooks you can't win the tie in the first leg but you can lose it is said all the time.

i agree that it wont be a goal fest, but i think uruguay forwards will out play the jordans defence.

their formation suggest otherwise. If they were playing it safe they would be starting with two defensive mids instead of one

Jordan would like to keep goals to a minimum in the game probably, at least if they were at full strength, but with all those injuries and the suspension they got, a question is whether they can... even their usual gk is out (suspended). Keeping it to 0-1 for Jordan must be hard in itself, especially if both defenders with the injury poblems are out... an unfair match they've gottn themselves into ... Jordan are definatly not at full strength for this match.

I was gonna bet the Under but then I saw 1,85 (!) for the Over 2,5 and that I simply cannot ignore.

None of those games show the quality gap of Uruguay and Jordan.

    Easy win for everyone

Uruguay is ranked 6th in the world and has 2 of the best strikers in the world in Cavani and Suarez while Jordan is ranked 70th and no one can name 2 of their players

I wonder where all the haters are now. This match pretty much going according to common logic, no need to think on level 2 or 3 about historical data, Jordan's climate, motivation etc. Just simply a difference in quality, simple as that.

jordans only chance was to put 10 men behind the ball, but instead
they are trying to attack and getting exposed badly whenever uruguay pushes forward.

    good win congrats

Thanks, Jimmy. 0-5 now, so much for a dog fight. Jordan indeed did not park the bus, but if they did they would have lost 0-2/0-3 or so.
