Hey guys, there's a Singapore League match coming up in a couple hrs. Young Lions vs Balestier Khalsa. Very heavy betting on Balestier, for good reason. Young Lions are the fodder team here in Singapore, they are just in the league to lose. I've got 5 units on Balestier @1.50. Worth a nice wager for some coin.
With a lot of money on one side, it seems like a good opportunity to have the favorite's flop and bring home a lot of cash for the bookies. We all have heard of and suspected match fixing...I take a stab at Young Lions at +400! 1.25 units to win 5!!!
Not this time bud. I will advise making plays on the Malaysian Super League if you want to spot fixed games. Higher chances there then the Singapore League. Authorities are too strict and market's not juicy enough for the fixers to put in effort.
theballsflop Analysis: With the title wrapped up earlier this week, LionsXII has nothing to play for, in the last round of matches for the Malaysian Super League Season. Coach V Sundramoothy is taking this match to blood several youngsters/reserves in his squad for some away exposure. LionsXII talisman captain Shahril Ishak, midfield enforcer Isa Halim and Hariss Hasun will also sit this match out, leaving the team very vulnerable in the middle of the park. Kelantan has lost just once @ home this season, LionsXII has won just twice away so far. Granted, the LionsXII are draw specialists away from home, with a ultra defensive mandate typically, but I highly suspect that being an inconsequential match, there will be no impetus for the coach to instruct his team to play as such. The youngsters/reserves will be looking to make an impression, and will leave space open for Kelantan to capitalise.
For a quick summary, LionsXII are terrible away from home. They have nothing to play for. Bunch of reserves. Go hard on Kelantan to end the season @ home on a high.
very good call man. I read what you had to say, but it was only available at a few books. (maybe in play more books?)
Keep posting, Im trying my best not to bet at the moment but will follow at some point.
Don't post much of these, but I only post those with a lot of 'insider' information (I am from Singapore and our newspapers and publications release a lot more information than what is available online on such 'exotic' league matches).
Singapore League match:
Courts Young Lions vs Harimau Muda II
20 units on Harimau Muda II - Draw No Bet @ 1.44
5 units on Harimau Muda II ML @ 2.00
Analysis: Young Lions is basically a B squad for the Lions XII that play in the Malaysian Super League, consisting of youth players between the age of 16-20. The Young Lions have not been able to stick with their same starting eleven for every match due to various players' commitments with National Service and studies. They have not won a single match this season (3 draws, 14 losses).
Harimau Muda is a youth team sent by Malaysia to play in our league as well, but they have a few national team players in there, with lots more talent on their roster.
In my humble opinion and analysis, there's close to zero chance that the Young Lions can win, there is a very low chance they might be able to eke out a draw if Harimau plays badly, thus the heavy units on Draw No Bet.
As always, bet within your means, and let's get some MONEYYYY.
Singapore League:
Woodlands Wellington vs Tanjong Pagar FC
Tip: 2 units on Woodlands ML @ 2.40 on Bet365
Analysis: Woodlands is on red hot form and putting together a late charge late in the league. They have been excellent at exploiting openings in their opponents' formations and scoring goals at will. Tanjong Pagar on the other hand are a decent side who have been consistent in the league but for this matchup, their side has been decimated by injuries and suspensions to 3-4 of their first-team members. Expect Woodlands to roll out a tight but ultimately comfortable victory, 2-0 or 2-1 imo.
