Does anyone else notice how teams like benfica and porto always trail the game to begin with? saw benfica trail 1-0 to draw at the 90th min and porto trailing 1-0 at the moment too.

I've noticed it a lot this season so my tip is from now on always bet on the underdog to score first, or if you're feeling lucky and for more value bet on the underdog to be leading at half time. then always bet on the favourites to at least tie the game towards the end

I notice that in the Netherlands a lot as well where Ajax or PSV will go on the road against some bottom team and fall behind early. Everyone starts flipping out, and then they end up winning by four or five goals in the second half.

I guess it's just a lack of motivation at the start, then the underdog playing scared the rest of the game.

yeah i seen that sometimes, but more commonly with benfica and porto

i bet on estoril to score first at 3/1 and surprise surprise it pulled off

call me sceptical but it sounds fixed rather than motivation i can understand if it happens here and there but its a constant pattern

I don't know, I just think a lot of the times teams just alter their game plan too early - take the lead against Benfica or Porto, and instead of continuing to attack, they just drop back into coverage hoping to survive for the next 60 minutes or whatever. Usually a recipe for disaster...

On another note, I have Porto -1.5, so they better turn it on in the 2H.

yeah tht's the fourth game in a row where Benfica conceded first then came back to draw or win. Though before that it only happened twice earlier in season in October against Beira Mar and Pacos.

With Porto theyve come back from a goal down on three occasions...against Estoril twice now and Olhanense earlier in season

its a regular pattern, it can't just be coincidence, as i've said i've seen it all season in the league never mind just the cup. i garantee you next time you see Porto or Benfica play one of the smaller sides, bet on the crap team to score first and watch benfica or Porto come back to at least tie the game or win it towards the end. it's just like Russian football

i was out at the time i saw the benfica game and did the bet on my phone on estoril to score first, wasn't till i got home and made this post that porto were still trailing

i would hardly call it coincidence neither. look either way it was predictable, i even said they would score in the last 5 minutes of the game, a team like Porto and Benfica have enough quality to score at any moment, so why always in the last 5 minutes? it was too predictable and free money if you ask me, i believe its a fix and im sure this will happen again in the future. If you ever watch the Big Russian sides especially Anji and Zenit the same sh*t happens there too, there was even a post about it regarding an Anji game about a month or 2 ago, and i saw the winning goal for anji and it was so comical and fixed i couldn't believe what i saw.
