Lazio-Atletico Madrid Under 2.5 [-130]
Madrid has been reborn under new hire Diego Simeone. Under Simeone's watch, Madrid have become defensive stalwarts with six straight clean sheets in La Liga play. Simone has hinted that his charge for today's opening leg is to keep a clean sheet, so a low scoring match could be in the works. Lazio for their part are suffering with injuries, but have managed to continue to get positive results in Serie A. It would be easy to discount Lazio due to injuries and the solid progression made by Madrid under Simeone. However, Lazio have only lost twice in 23 matches since their domestic campaign kicked off last year. Given that + Madrid having either been shut out or scored only a lone goal in four of six under Simeone, I'll side with a lack of goals as both sides try not to slip up given their situations.
Trabzonspor-PSV Over 2.5 [-115]
The Turks have been a solid scoring outfit at home with multiple goals in seven straight matches in all competitions. They face a good attacking side in PSV who have scored and conceded in each of their last five overall matches. In the group stages last year, PSV scored multiple times in four of six. Should be an open match, I hope that will depend on the finishing quality of both to get this done of course.
