Is betting -0.5 the same as betting the 1 here?

Just wondering if this is normal that the 1 bet here at Pinnacle is cheaper than the -0.5

Pinnacle has the Zambia Sudan game as Zambia at -0.5 at 1.926 but if I take Zambia on the 1X2 it is 1.952

Are these essentially the same bet? If so, betting the 1 on the 1X2 is better value. Just not sure why Pinnacle would do this.

    Can someone fill me in.

I am VERY new to Soccer betting and want to be sure I have this down before I put money on it.

    Thank so much.

Yes it is the same. Sometimes I find discrepancies between ML (money line, 1X2) and the -0.5. It's weird. But if you are playing with enough money, it makes a difference

yea its weird how bookies have this discrepancies.
they all do, not just Pinnacle.

i've noticed moneyline always paids better than asian handicap -0.5
