    Bayern v. Köln

    What are your thoughts?

I am considering going for a o. 2,5 (perhaps also 3.5) and a -1 or - 2 handicap win for Bayern. Aside from their defeat against Dortmund, Bayern seem fairly consistent when playing at home. and have pretty much destroyed all visiting opposition. Conversely, Köln have only played one away game this season which produced less than 4 goals, and only gathered 7 points in 8 away matches (2 wins, 1 tie, 5 defeats and a goal difference of -9)

Podolski in form. bts seems pretty tempting at over evens.

Bayern defence hasn't been quite as rock solid as earlier in the year.

I'm betting on the draw because I found out from reading a match preview that Köln hasn't lost there in their last five trips! Sure Bayern is the stronger club and they can usually be counted on to win at home, but some matchups are 'special' and it looks to me like this is one of them. Anyway I look forward to watching the match, win or lose. Good luck to you guys -

tough to call this match. köln haven't lost in allianz since like 10 years ago or something. but then they also played 3 days ago so they might be a little bit banged up. if i end up playing i'll take over 2.5 or btts. too hard to pick a side here imo.

koln always surprises...when you expect them to loose..they win...and when you expect them to loose they come clean...they can't touch Bayern but since the bavaros lost Schweinsteiger they havent been the same team .....i think ill skip out this one..

    According to Bayern's website:

"Heynckes is set to field a full strength side, as the only confirmed absentees are Bastian Schweinsteiger and Breno. Franck Ribéry has recovered from a minor sprain at the start of the week and came through the final training session unscathed. The winger should be fit to start on Friday"

Historically few goals are score between the two, last time a match had more than 2.5 (my bet) was in 2002 apparently. Getting ready to hedge via live bets

Yeah but Köln missings in defence, ribery playing is good news. Dortmund and schalke put 5 past them.
might throw over 2.5 in a parlay.

Red cards do weird things to matches. The over was probably fukked before the red card, now who knows. With how few shots were being put up, maybe the red card helps open it up. You never know how it's going to work out.

    I'm watching it, too.

He used his neck muscles to push his head forward into the head of the other guy. Did it the first time. They were separated for about 2 minutes, the guy came back and Ribery used his neck muscles to extend his forehead and hit the other guy in the head. That's why the ref gave him the red.

    It's called a head butt.

I don't get how Bayern is held scoreless in the first half at full strength, and now they're scoring after losing a player.

More pressure, gets players going. This isn't uncommon
