    CL: Bayern - Manchester City

Bayern with a stellar record of only one goal against in eleven games (29-1 goals). On the other hand, City cannot afford a loss because they only drew against Napoli last time.

    Well, im a Bayern-fan, but I don't give a f-k. You just don't go against a well-working German team.
Bayern will win. And at around +100 (2.00) at home, I'll gladly take it. Llike I took Bayern +140 @ Villareal last time.

On a side note: ManCity will already get drunk because of Oktoberfest in Munich and lose. British guys can't drink beer, I see too many drunk foreigners laying around in Munich..

Alright, it's your turn, whats your take on this game? And beer for y'all tonight!

I'd take under here as City will be happy to take a 0-0 or 1-1 draw in Munich. But I read yesterday that City wants to play full offense to win in Munich. If that's really the case (which I doubt), then It will go over in no time. Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...rn-Munich.html

Both to score might be another choice to pick.

Let's be realistic here, the last time Bayern faced a quality side was last season, this is their first real test of the season and many people are saying it will be a straight forward win? Man City might not be experienced in the CL but they have better players than Bayern and are not going to be dominated like any Bundesliga team.

Why the 1-1 against Napoli then? Sure, City may be better in players, but not as a team.
After all, Bayern delivers like half of the German national team starters. I still think teamwork beats individual players any day.

And honestly, Are you really saying, Schalke or Leverkusen are not good teams as opposed to Bolton, Fulham and others? No way! Apart from Napoli, City did not face a tough opponent this season either.

City didn't face a tough team? They went to London and scored 5 goals vs Tottenham this season.

Teamwork is better than individual talent obviously, but both teams have teamwork, City just has better players. I think this match up is very even between 2 good teams, but I feel like Bayern will be frustrated by City's defense and make mistakes, just like they did last year vs Inter.

I agree with Jon and Decado both have very valid points.
The Game between City and Napoli could had easy been won by City, but like in many of their games, they miss a lot of good opportunities, Napoli on their end did their job, not losing in England.
Usually when you have 2 strong sides the game is close as you all know, niether side will want to risk much. Bayer is very strong but City is too, I really think that this game will be a draw, Like some said Man City cannot afford to lose this game and if Bayer ends of a draw I bet you that point was already counted by the bayer couch before the match started, if they win well that is a great result.

The only way I can see Bayer winning is if robben, ribery gomez have an exceptional night.
The only was I can see City wining is if Silva, Nasri and Aguero have an exceptional night.

Guess who are going to be press the whole game?, exacty all those players...Under and a draw. My 2 cents

Better players?? Would not say so. Who do you consider better? Robben might not play and that helps Shitty alot but shitty dont give a sh-- about CL. There only focus is PL. Bayern will crush them.

I think Mancini will tighten up dramatically from the performance we saw vs Napoli.

I'm looking at under and Mancity to win, but I think there are better bets today.

Over and Bayern to win, i don't see City not scoring specially with Dzeko and Aguero, but i believe Bayern will win the game, home factor, european experience and i don't see City defense holding Bayern.

This is not the type of question you should be asking youself. This is about way more then individual quality. Upsets happen all the time in soccer and besides, this game is between two quality sides. No big difference between them.

Neuer - far from the world's best but from what I've seen better than Hart ok.
Lahm not as good as he use to be but better than Clichy, yes.
Schweinsteiger/Luiz Gustavo over de Jong/Barry just.
Ribery better individual than Nasri, but I think Nasri does a better job bringing teammates into the game.
Same for Robben v Silva really. Is Robben fit for tonight?
Muller better than Aguero? Hmmmm. I guess he does create a lot of goals as well as scoring a few but Aguero can give you that moment of magic that Muller doens't.
Gomez better than Dzeko? No. Gomez just stands around and scores tap ins. He relies on his team mates for him to score. Dzeko scores goals and sets others up. And against the slow van Buyten he might get some luck.

What about Richards v Rafinha? Richards.
    Or Kompany v Badstuber? Kompany.
Or Lescott v van Buyten? Lescott.
