but doesn't it means by their rules that the line was OK? I mean bookmakers market had the same... at least 10-12 other bookies...

yeah, it seems like one book started with the mistake and others copied it quickly, so there were a handful of bookies available at those odds - but to be honest, it is still a pretty obvious example of a bad line. Last year's champion @3,35 vs a team that finished 17th (and is yet to win a match this season)... that's probably a bit too good to be true. Today the odds were around @1,03 or so.

here is the quot from their rules about voiding bets. "The company waves all responsibility on the erroneous coefficient indicated in the program as a result of mistakes made by its staff or due to software error, which does not correspond to the coefficients available on the bookmakers’ market for such position."
guangdong is something like 16-2 in the last 18 matches against sichuan. and they are 33-2 in their last 35 CBA matches overall. sichuan is one of the worst teams in the league and they were something like +23.5 underdogs coming into the match.

there's nothing you can do on that. these dudes were -8000 to -10000 moneyline.

to be honest I don't follow Chinese basketball and I didn't knew all those circumstances... I saw value odds, I checked at oddsportal if other bookies do have similar odds, so for me it was correct lines. I mean, how can 10-12 bookies have the same mistake... do you think there is no way for me to complaint against that bookie and make them change that bet to a winner instead of void? hope my English is good enough : ))

for this kind of sports, there are less than a handful of oddsmakers, and the other bookies just copy them.

So just want to update everyone on what happened. I used the sbrodds that show live odds to prove that the price given at that point in the game were correct. Bet365 showed the line at +210 about 3 minutes before I placed my first wager at +230 on their site. So I'd assume bet365 had it at +215 or +220 when I placed the wager.

Based on the sbrodds, the bookie agreed to honor all the wagers at the price I took them at. I want to thank everyone that helped out here, because without this information, I would not have been able to prove my case.

It was on the NYI vs PIT NHL game on Nov 7th. Score was 3-0, and I took PIT+2.5 at +230 on their site at 8:28 pm. I already had the other side of this bet on another site, so I kept betting in $200 increments, until I bet about 3K in total.

I guess the backer of the site thought I kept hitting the line because it was a bad line, whereas I was hitting it at small increments because I was slowly hedging out of a bet. After an investigation, 5 days later, he told me that the line should have been +120 and voided all wagers. But as you can see, on https://classic.sportsbookreview.com...?date=20191107 , under the bet365 tab, the line opened at +185 and was +210 at 8:25 pm, which was 3 minutes before my first bet. With this evidence, I was able to prove that it was a good line, and he honored the wagers after escalating it to "upper management."

Ran into the same issue again, this time on NFL. Are historical live betting lines available for football? I seem to be having a problem finding historical live lines for NFL. The livebet I placed and I'm trying to get resolved was PHI vs SF +13.5, +172 odds at 9/19/2021 12:47:13 PM.

SBR Odds does not log live odds movements.

And I am not aware of another site that does.

SBR did log the in-play lines for NFL games with certain books in 2020. I only know this because I used to copy/paste the lines to Excel post kickoff and I had to manually adjust the prices for 1 or 2 of the books, (I think Bet365 was 1 of them). However those logs have since been wiped.

Just curious: is this still the same agent/private book you used when you made the original post 2 years back?

    Nice one.

Bet365 odds there. Looks like they had +190 to +170 to +155 over that minute you reference.

Some agents provide Asian bookies with the warning: "they have a history of voiding bets" in reality it's impossible to know if it's the agent or the bookie voiding, but I see no point in using this kind of agent.
