    There are millions of us everday who manage to "breathe" without insulting someone. If you can't particpate in a workplace environment without offending someone then you're the one with the problem. The vast majorioty of the rest of us manage not to insult or degrade our coworkers without having even to think about it.

    I have worked with a few guys who were completely incapable of this. Staring, making comments, inappropriate jokes etc.

    Needless to say all of them were fired from their respective companies.


    It is a good idea to follow the logic of :

    - Don't dip your pen in the company ink.

    - Don't get your meat where you make your bread.

    The major problem with all this is different people view harassment in different ways. I could tell a lady they look nice today, and the first thing that comes to their mind is why areyou looking me up and down, when that isn't even the case. A person can file a complaint against you, and even if it is unwarranted, your reputation is stained. A lot of people have transformed into wusses in this day and age.

    I find that people get way to offended these days. Everything is a big deal when it really shouldn't be. I don't mean putting people or their views down but the little things. I think if people are taking classes about it why arnt people taking classes about not looking into things or not taking things so seriously
