Best phone out there. I have one.

Just play with it and you will learn.

Be sure to get the InvisibleSHEILD put on it.

I don't use a case. I just got it wrapped in the InvisibleSHIELD.

How do you like it so far?

Download Advanced Task Killer Free - it's not going to work miracles but it will get you a few more hours out of it. Also - enjoy paying Sprint a 4G surcharge

Since the 2.2 upgrade, it doesn't work right. I have uninstalled it and get the same life out of my battery as when I used it with the older 2.0/2.1.

    Get Juicedefender.

Normally my fuckkin phone would be dead or close to it when I wake up in the morning, even with advanced task killer. Now I have juicedefender, and it may take a few minutes to go through the settings and get it to work best, but even on the normal setting it gave my phone over 270% more battery life. Was at 31 hours with regular use, and still had 47% battery left

Great phone especially for a sports gambler...

Only problem is the battery life.

I like Sports Tap for scores. You usually see more games than ESPN especially college baskets.

Apps that I have loaded include:

Appsfire - shows common and new apps
    AppBrain - same
    Bump -
    Craigslist
    Google Goggles
    Google Translate
    Goby
    Happy Hours
    Groupon
    History Eraser
    Hot Apps
KnotsGuide - my son is a boy scout
    Picsay
    TabbedOut
    The Foreplay Guide

My bank and insurance companies have apps.

    I don't use the 4G too often as it's a battery drainer

Without my evo I wouldn't be able to wager everyday like I do. I place the bet from the phone. Check dsores on it or watch a live stream with the web browser since its flash enabled. And them I use the calculator to add up my winnings.

It would be the perfect phone if it had better battery life.

Without it..I wouldn't be able to leave my house during a open wager.

I may have to check this out. Even though I get about a good day out of each charge. Except on high internet use days.

Posting from an Evo right now. love the phone, the only thing that sucks besides the battery life, YouTube videos load slow as shit.

it buffers during the video, virtually Everytime. I don't like looking at too many vids, because I feel like I'm on some dial up comp.

Make sure you turn off all the auto sync stuff. The only thing I have on auto sync is my GMAIL. Plus you really don't need the GPS running at all time either. Those help drain your battery.

You need to enroll in evening college classes to learn how to use these new phones. I miss the days when the cellphone only made phone calls.

you need to root your evo, the phone can do so much more than you even think. Rooting is very easy. You will also be able to get a lot of paid apps for free. I use the wifi tether and do not pay the 30 bucks per month
