The OP wanted us to post our favorites and Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale is one of my top 2-3 beers. My everyday beer is Shiner Bock then Newcastle. Besides, not a lot of places carries Samuel Smith beers.

    Cheers!

Look at you with two New Belgium Brews!
If you like 1554 homie, you should try Lion Stout....Its great... I think it scored a 99..very flavorful...9% ABV also helps!

Agree with it being hard to narrow down, too many excellent styles to choose from to suit mood and the weather and setting. I like all styles aside wheatbeers and macroswill. Faves being Double India Pale ales and Belgian tripels, dubbels and quads in cooler weather, lower abv English/American Pale Ales and Lambics for session beers in warmer weather.

Tried this earlier in the week little splurge off a small win. Unibroue La Terrible. One of the best Belgian style dark ales I've ever had and would definitely be in my top 10. Would highly recommend. 10% Lovely dark cherry, plum and raison notes, sweetness is very well balanced for the abv.
