    The officer, Truong Thai, 49, was pronounced deceased at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Sheriff Joe Lombardo said at a news conference.
    The shooting took place near the 800 block of East Flamingo Road.
    The suspect, Tyson Hampton, 24, was taken into custody near East Desert Inn Road and South Eastern Avenue, Lombardo said.

    I lived in Vegas for 25 years, and after the election I told my wife and child we better get ready to move in a moments notice.. we lived way west, 3 blocks north of RedRock Casino.. Fantastic place to live for a long time…

    The final straw was a Saturday morning I went to the Local Albertsons grocery store to get our usual groceries usually bout $100 dollars worth, walk into the store and it was like a fukkin ZOO… bunch of BLM folks in there tearing shit up and loading carts full of meat and walking right out the front door w/o paying a cent.. I asked the manager, WTF is going on and he told me they were told to stand down, let them have it.. I pay for my lil bit, drive home and told my wife and child, we are done in Las Vegas, 25 years is enough..

    I sold my house for 3 times what I had paid for it to OpenDoor, furniture loaded on one truck, cars on another, bought a Motor Home and Wife, Child, Me and my two dogs have been safely back in Victoria, Texas for a year and a half and loving life once again… still have friends in Vegas and talk to them once a week and they tell me what a shithole it has become…

    Very Happy that part of OUR lives is done.. just turned 65 retired, on Medicare, wife’s teaching school a block from the house and child is sophomore straight A student in high school.. I mow and grill, that’s about all I get done.. Stay Safe Folks… we need a lot of changes in the good ole USA…

    ^^^^ Yeah, the area around Red Rock Casino has gotten very dark now. We go to the Costco there, but that's about it. Used to be very nice.

    Durango Casino will neutralize the area. That will attract all the low end fukk scum. Opens late next year. Never had any problems in Las Vegas. It’s only old people and wealthy where I live. I must be in a super bubble.
