I actually think more can be done by governments and authorities all over the world to protect the rights/safety and discrimination of the LG's and especially the T's. We are not even close to where we should be, yet. And probably won't anytime soon, if ever in some Western/Conservative Worlds. Which we just accept.

But we've also come a long way in the last 25 years in regards to the above, with the peak of it being the murder of Matthew Sheppard in 1998. Regardless of whether one thinks he hung around with a bad crowd as one of the reasons it was more likely to happen.

But the line in the sand is clearly as mentioned, Trans Women competing in Womens events. It's hard to accept that Trans Women compete in the same events with Cis Women, and they (The Cis Women) potentially have the disadvantage. And there are a lot of people who want to be politically correct that will boldly state that Trans Women are real women, which is fine.

In the recent cases of the Olympics where a NZ weightlifter who is a Transgender women was allowed to compete in a Womens event. It out raged plenty and it was fair enough, considering she passed the 'requirements', and secondly she did compete as a man with results that were unflattering. And right after the event she retired. Whether that was some sort of deal with the NZ government to have the best of both worlds, I don't know.

Wasn't there a Transgender US Olympic Swimmer or something as well?

Is it easier to make a separate category for Transgender people which makes the most sense? Would 'politically correct' people disagree otherwise?
