I don't know who is pulling the strings. It's not the mods who run the day to day operations. My guess is the owners hired an outside consultant to do a study on the viability of the betpoints program in conjuction with the store and once they finish their report the owners will decide the future of it and what will it offer. They maybe also in with negotiations with the US based books to offer Sportsbook cash or other promotions instead of just bitcoin and giftcards. Remember the new owners bought something that they need to research before deciding how to make it better that it was before.

It don't matter what I say, but to this day I'd still trust SBR more than any garbage site on the web which they all are...SBR didn't have a hidden agenda and I actually learned shit here I'd never learn anywhere. Hate that they have new sponsors but don't trust anyone else, maybe half trust SBR posters and half do your own homeowork. either way, SBR is still king of who to trust in online gambling,period.

I think they intend to make points worth something in the future but they are not willing to do it now. You are basically getting an option on future points.

Giving out points is a good strategy for contests. You get some excitement and keep them hanging on.

They paid out $10,000 on a lousy bowl contest. That automatically puts them well above any other forum and we are not even out of January. Not any reason to be pessimistic but no reason to be looking for points payouts any time soon.

All those books up there now would be A if offshore I guess. As main consideration always seemed to be if they could be relied upon to pay.

I have an account at Pinnacle that was opened long before I joined SBR and I had one at Sports Interaction that they closed on me because that's what they do with winning accounts. Do I still follow the instructions and just put in my active Pinnacle account # to get the 3 month extension or am I out of luck being able to renew because neither are linked to SBR?
