Life is complicated.
To simplify things, many prefer to believe their views are the "only logical" views. And everyone who disagrees is a "racist", "nazi", "conspiracy theorist".
Its a lazy, anti-intellectual, approach. But common in this day and age.
If people disagree with it, they could try harder to respect different views and not hop on the dumbed down "one true faith" bandwagon that says there is only one legit perspective to every topic.
