    Vegas Hotels

Just booked for a 4 night stay in Vegas.
It's been 8 years since I've been. Same shit different year? Anything new going on in Vegas that is a must see?

Also, wtf is up with the 65% increase in added fees/taxes to room cost? shit is out of hand.

Personally I don't know how Vegas stays so popular with all those additional resort fees and taxes. It's like more than what the room costs.

Some hotels offer some sort of rewards card.... (can't remember which one) in which.... if you're on a higher tier... the resort fees are waived.

My last comped room in AC was still around $22.

There's no getting around the resort fee, even if you're comped. Doubt Vegas is any different.

Depends on the hotel. Golden Nugget in Vegas has zero resort fees when comped.

I just stayed at Ocean Resort in AC this past weekend and I still had to pay $27 per night. Still not bad for a free room at a top notch hotel.

Other AC hotels usually just charge the tax between $15-$20 per night

    Vegas is dying

The gambling is less enjoyable because the people are just trash from California

Room fees, etc only apply to non gamblers, they're making tons of cash off the weekends for those who only come to see shows, eat food or staycation

Gamblers gets comps...thou book is less n less rewarded

Didn't Vegas have a dry spell when the economy crashed in 2008? Weren't they giving things away before to get people to go??? Doesn't seem like they want to give anything away anymore.

With Raiders coming to town, it will be criminal activity and nothing but low life’s. Crime rate is unbelievable in Vegas.

Just scammers there now. Or tourist out of country. It’s so different than years past.
