    in no particular order...

    1) Rocky IV..."no easy way out"

    2) Conan the Barbarian..."the kitchen scene"

    3) Carrie...1976 horror classic..."candlelit home"...this is my favorite of all-time!...creepy, eerie, ominous, enthralling organ music!

Never heard of the term movie score. Had to look it up. Looks like Star Wars is widely ranked on top. Makes sense.

I like that one so much that I've been meaning to learn how to play it on the piano. Maybe in 2019.

    Star Wars (1977)
Rollerball (with Andre Previn and The London Philharmonic)
Murder on the Orient Express (1974)
    Sing
    Thief (with Tangerine Dream)
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
    2001: A Space Odyssey

With "Rollerball" and "Murder on the Orient Express" I learned to appreciate Classical Music.

Here's an excerpt from "Murder on the Orient Express with its lively waltz-type music:

If you have a child in your family and want to share a movie, "Sing" is a great movie both adults and children can enjoy. This is a very powerful rendition by Jennifer Hudson of "Golden Slumbers".

I think it's an Oscars term and I've ever watched the Oscars for more than a few minutes in my life. Too much pomp and vanity for me.
