This is sound advice. I was already disconnecting the years before the last election. Once Trump got elected, it was foreseeable how ugly it would get from both sides so I just turned it off and now all my presets are sports and music. These days I pay that national stuff no mind and just try to improve that which is around me and affect actual change to the world within my grasp. The funny thing is that since I don't pay attention to "actual" news sources, 95% of my political news sadly comes from SBR now.
Why should the FBI get involved with this in the first place? At the time of the incident, this wasn't a federal matter
The only reason they got involved with the Anita Hill case is that they were both federal employees at the time of the alleged incident.
valid point, but doesn't it sound reasonable to investigate as Kav will be on the highest court in the country and he is already a federal employee, I'm of the mind that you are innocent till proven guilty and this has become a political nightmare, times have surely changed, but the stain that will be left(no pun intended), if one side is asking for an FBI investigation and one side seems to be rushing this through without investigation, it is going to be left up to us that view the hearing tomorrow to make are own decision, I prefer that we let the FBI investigate as they are without a doubt the best investigative unit we have, they may find no evidence against Kav, just don't see what the rush is??

They all have their chance to go before the committee tomorrow and if after that, its decided that an investigation should take place, then so be it, but i HIGHLY doubt anything comes from this..
Answer me this, besides the fact that she's changed her story a few times already, claimed people witnessed it (which they came out and said thats false), what other evidence can they find from 35+ years back?

Civil disobedience and protest is part of America history on both sides. Jibby complaining about this shows how soft people have become and how both sides are full of snowflakes.
Back in the day shit got burned, the boston tea party went down, people died during protests, etc.... Now a guy cant have a meal one night of his life at an upscale restaurant and snowflakes are besides themselves.
With that said, I dont think this helps Dems chances of gaining seats. But I could be wrong, its all abouy energizing bases around election time and with elections around the corner, if they push Kav through it could be interesting.

Why did a police report not get filed when this came to light?
Why not bring it to the public eye back then?
Why wait until right before the nomination?
Why did no one, in 36+ years, say something to someone about this if so many people supposedly know?
This is all just way too fishy for me.. I honestly dont think they will go in front of the special counsel due to perjury. If they do, and claim the same exact story they are claiming now, then an investigation should develop and Trump picks another, MUCH MORE conservative judge that the left will hate even more. And if proven, then Kav deserves whatever is coming to him
If they dont, this should get shut down and they all should be slapped with libel, slander and defamation lawsuits to the max degree

As for the questions, I see it a bit differently. The only queation to me that matters is did he do it. I dont care why she waited because its well known that most women never report (maybe now we see why). I'm wondering if it will ever be possible to repair the damage that has been done, if the Dems take the house they will go after Trump, will it be another 2 years of partisan politics. The american people have been suffering through this for to long, something has to change or we are done.
I honestly believe the relationship is beyond repair; and that's pretty sad..
