All the SBR "Fukk Boys" getting Barbequed right now....

New Jersey has put the whole scope of legalized, regulated wagering to the forefront. I have yet to hear a single complaint when it comes to NJ sportsbooks other than "wide" lines at some shops. Good thing we have ten options plus moving forward while offshore books continue to flood the Industry forum with bullsh*t.

Turning blind eyes to habitual account compromises, unruly bonus rules, less than desirable customer support....not to mention outright thievery on a few shops. (lowly graded shops).

A damn shame they are putting some well regarded moderators in a position to piggy back this sinking ship ....

Bend over, offshore...kiss your ass goodbye

Had some nice dialogue with a rep for Don Best and we will all see New Jersey books on the screen sooner, rather than later

I don't live in New Jersey, so why the f*k I care. Las Vegas has had online sports betting since when I lived there 2009, I don't see it making monster waves due to the electronic fencing of it within the state, and new Jersey is the same. Lol.

Today is my 47th birthday....I’m hoping to be betting in my state of Texas by the time I hit 80.

    Probably won’t happen though.

I just recently visited my sister in Dallas and was shocked that I had to drive 120 miles to Oklahoma to play a poker tournament.....you are in for a long fight there in TX. Good luck Mpas

10-hour drive from Toronto is not that great. I wish Toronto had legalized sports betting places.

As more states come on board, and it's the same few entities handling their books-- we will see more standardization and varied menus...maybe even state cross border customer agreements. Vegas online might even improve in such an atmosphere-- it's not that good right now.
Westgate now getting into app development and the national scene...
The next Supremes case should be why individual states unlawfully restrict interstate commerce in this area.

    Sweep, good updates:

    1) Are u spending much of Sat/Sun in the NJ books?
    2) Are u seeing any line variance btw the NJ books?
    3) Any issue on making larger bets (like $1000+ dime wagers)?

So are we really believing that even if the entire population of New Jersey online bettors leave online and go to New Jersey shops that it will hurt the global online betting industry? Even if this happened in 1/2 that states, is this what you guys believe?

I get it Sweep, you are excited, things are going well overall for the industry, especially in NJ, but seriously bro, there's no perspective here.

It's just New Jersey, big, yes, but still it's just New Jersey and even some local players who aren't online at all are moving into books, good for them but that has nothing to do with the global online industry, nothing at all.

I think you look little foolish and a bit like a rookie with this candy store excitement. I wouldn't mind the excitement, but the notion that the online industry is worried and sinking is a bit overboard.

There is more to the world than the US bubble everyone seems to live in these days.

    Much more.

No perspective?? Jersey is laying the groundwork for the frame of reference and approach to legal wagering and how it should be run. To answer your question, YES, the global online betting industry will be crippled sooner than later. Especially when the feds start cracking down on payment processors and the like.

Pinnacle has already voluntarily moved out of rough waters abroad, so to say that this "bubble" as you put it is solely on US soil is absurd and without merit.

..am I a little overzealous being in the heart of the beast? Of course I am

I agree, Jersey moving fast and blazing a trail, but I also see that the meaningful online market, the big guys, will remain un-phased here, if not get in on some US action themselves.

Why do you want it to be one or the other Sweeper?

Honestly, you would hate heavily enforced legalized betting. You'll end up with no bonuses or choice/access as the end game of legalization. Well unless you lose consistently of course.

Sweeper, pal as people keep saying its about perspective. Yay!For Jersey. But like people keep explaining the Off shore will be fine for years to come. They will survive off us idiots who like in Places like Texas, Arizona, Utah etc where we'll sooner see Jesus resurrected than Sports betting. Hell in AZ we cant even do draft kings and have to place horse/dog race bets by Phone lines like savages.. ROt in hell Mccain and take Kyle with you.

    Great point Opti.

Though I cannot speak for Sweep, it does appear that most haven’t embraced the enthusiasm that should be associated with this. It’s become “well when the new sharp betters see other options out there” BS and the such. Kind of disappointing to say the least

NJ is looking like a great success to me so far.

I did not expect this many people to come out week after week for bricks n mortar betting.
