I'll tell you what if a good portion survives re-entry and weighs even a ton and slams into a major city that would be like a bomb hitting..

I remember seeing a documentary on space weaponry.. What was said if you drop a telephone pole from space it's basically like a small nuclear bomb going off it hits lands cleanly.. Even relatively small Iron core Meteors create large craters... It's the speed that they travel at that makes objects so powerful upon impact..
