    Finally saw Deadpool -- wow!

    Movie rocked! Hilarious and raunchy.

For those who skipped it assuming it's just another comic-book movie or whatever, it's not! Not only is it clever and funny, but it's also very meta, very self-aware, with tons of hilarious cultural references throughout. Very enjoyable.

I knew it would be great once I saw this amazing TV spot for it:

Enjoyed it. I like it when actors don't take themselves so serious.

Great Movie. Only one that I seen opening day since I was a kid in the 80's. Also got it on DD. watched it about 10 more times. Every time you watch it, you catch something that you missed the last time you watched it.

All the marketing that's gone with it has been genius too. I mean did you guys see the above TV ad for the blu ray release? That is just brilliant and hilarious. Hat goes off to all the folks behind the movie and all the spots and teasers.

I guess Ryan Reynolds really pushed for it back in 2004. The studio wasn't sure. They can thank him now for the millions. But what they got right was allowing creative control to the writers and director. Instead of pressuring them to make another typical Kids movie they made something a lot better.

When we seen it opening day, I was shocked at how many people brought their kids to see it. A few parents left with their kids 15 minutes in. They had no idea what they were in for.

I liked civil war better than deadpool, i think with the success of deadpool u will see alot more dark rated R type superhero movies in the future. That Suicide Squad movie looks like it is following the same theme as deadpoool.

Loved the R rated aspect to it, about time your super heros didn't talk like Adam West circa 1967

I thought it was okay but not as great as most people are making it. Kinda corny.

If you guys like the movie that much you should try to find his old comics.

Was worried after that god awful Wolverine movie years ago thought we could never see a proper Deadpool in the movie...glad I was wrong about that.

I was watching some again and I can't get over how many funny lines they jammed into this script. The two writers, whose names I've never heard before, really hit it out of the park. I hope they get more projects thrown their way now. The director also did an amazing job considering it was his FIRST frickin' major motion picture. What a team effort -- the producers really made smart choices with the team they put together for this. And, obviously, Ryan Reynolds, who not only was behind the project to begin with I think but was also fantastic in it.

It was good because they kept the script very close to the comic instead of that abomination in the Wolverine movie. Ryan Reynolds lobbied for a legit Deadpool movie for years. Fans were very vocal for them to not F it up.
