i might go but im a little concerned about their sanitary conditions and not having big name hotels. Im ok with the whole communist thing but I wouldnt mind staying at a Marriott
I spent a year working there. Most of the Americans came through Cancun, but I think they had **** issues back then and couldn't go straight or something like that.
The hotels are there. Havana Libre, Melia network, Presidental are all good. It's a waste to stay at one of those though. You can get yourself a full house for a similar price through Airbnb.
I was working and living here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6819331...016&s=vNeRAj2T
The 2nd floor is also amazing, but the rent is twice as high.
I usually get last minute deals out of Toronto for around 500 bucks, flight and 7 nights included all-inclusive at a decent resort. I may as well enjoy it now before American tourists bump the prices up.
I'd like to go. The reason I ask is because it's been a decade and I was there for a [legit] "reason" but now Im wondering what the best way to go would be (Toronto? ) and if there are actually any real state dept risks.
