Photo: McDonald's McRib Sandwich. Are You Kidding Me?

You are looking at the main ingredient for a McRib sandwich.

    I had no idea.

Coincidentally, TTWarrior knows a great deal about bones in rectums.

The photo is obviously doctored, but the actual ingredients probably aren't much better.

It doesn't matter if it was doctored or not. Someone eating some inverted ass somewhere.

Well, it kinda matters since the original post was meant to lead people to the conclusion that those inside-out poop chutes were going into their McRib sandwich.

But, like I said, I don't think it really makes a difference. If you followed your McDonald's hamburger from it's origins to your dinner plate, it would probably turn your stomach just as much as the thought of piggy assholes.

    Pig in a Poke

    snopes

    updated From the archive

Claim: Photograph shows boxes of Tyson "[inverted] boneless pork rectums."

    PROBABLY TRUE

Example: [Collected via e-mail, July 2012]

The attached picture has appeared now on several image sites on the Internet. I've tried searching to see if this is real, faked, or Photoshopped, but haven't found an answer. If this is real, for what ungodly purpose would this "Product of the USA" be used for?

Origins: This photograph of boxes of Tyson Food products bearing labels identifying the contents as [inverted] "Boneless Pork Rectums" originated (as far as we know) in 2007, when it was posted to the Taiwan-based Forumosa message board by a user who described it as a picture "Taken last week outside a local dumpling shop."

Tyson declined to verify for us whether the displayed photograph was a genuine picture of one of that company's products, but we see no reason to doubt that it is. Unlike such notorious fictional gag items as "fish assholes," pork rectums (including the inverted variety) are a not uncommon food product, used in such dishes as chitlins (or chitterlins) and vended by many different companies in a variety of countries.
