Who Are Some Famous Athletes You Have Met? Were They Mean or Nice?

I met: Lenny Wilkins, Darcy Tucker, Walter Gretzky, George Chuvalo, and Elvis Grbac. All of them but Elvis Grbac were very kind and talkative.

I am surprised that a big shot like you has not met any famous or infamous Athletes. Did Pete Rose wave back?

Met Bobby Bonds at the track (Bay Meadows) , he was actually there quite a bit. Mentioned the good game Barry had that day, he was very dismissive.

Bo Jackson unfazed and as normal as any human being. Robert Horry before he turned pro was as cool as the other side of the pillow. Antonio Freeman low key.

a buddy of mine and his father both work for the Cowboys so have met many of them going back 20 years.

I was on a soccer team with the sons of Benny Barnes, Ed "too tall" Jones, and Preston Pearson back in the day.

I was good friends with Bam Morris who played for steelers, Chiefs, and Ravens. He was very cool.

Roger staubach and Michael Irvin are real cool guys and the two biggest pricks I met were Charles Haley and Troy Aikman

Met Ben Oglivie and Gorman Thomas after a Brewers/Royals game at the hotel.
Tom Brunansky at a BBQ at a neighbors house.
These guys aren't real famous, but when I was a kid any pro on the diamond was famous to me.
    Good luck.

Partied with a bunch of South Carolina football players multiple times (lived next to a bunch of players one year in college/shared a deck in a townhouse type place, so pre-gamed alot together), some of them now in the NFL.....Alshon Jeffrey prob the most famous of them, awesome guy and down to earth

Met a bunch of Yankee players over the years (Close relative works for them)....A-Rod surprisingly as well as CC Sabathia stood out as the nicest guys.....Jeter quiet and kept to himself mostly, but not in a prick kind of way, just how he is I think

    Have met several:

    • Jim Harbaugh, when he was younger. Tough guy, but cool.
    • Fuzzy Thurston. Great guy, b4 he passed.
    • Gorman Thomas. Good guy, but I think he liked the bottle. Chilled him out.

    I met Justin Verlander.

Very nice guy. Completely modest and unassuming down to earth guy.

He did not try to big league me or anything... he just acted like a normal dude who is very thankful for all that he is blessed with.

I met Jim Kelly. He is pretty cool too. He was drinking beers in the parking lot mingling with fans after a pre-season game.

I also met Dante Bichette and asked him about his signature shucky duck home run thing.. he seemed as about as laid back and chill as they come.

When I was a kid I was allowed in to the locker room after the basketball game and met Darryl Dawkins and his knee-banger. The thing hung so far down I'm pretty sure he could have used it as a belt.

I met Barry Bonds too. He was very polite and somewhat shy/reserved.
