Seen that documentary before. The game Maribor-Club Brugge wasn't fixed, it's just some bullshyt assumption the guy made. The results of an investigation showed, there were no signs of match fixing in that game. Common sense tells that you don't fix a match, when one of the teams is down 3-0. It's too obvious. Former coach, who was coaching Maribor back then, played not to lose. And that's exactly what happened. I hope that Maribor qualifies for the Champions League again this year.
Anyways, where the miserable salaries are, match fixing will happen. Some players will be fine with match fixing because of their greed, but the majority will do it due to pathetic salaries or due to not getting paid for 6 or more months.
