Never cared for her after she betrayed Carson. Always thought she was kind of annoying.

Absolutely amazing how celebrity deaths always seem to happen in groups of three!...Robin Williams, Lauren Bacall, and now Joan Rivers!...RIP to three iconic figures that brought tears, laughter, joy and happiness to millions of people worldwide....

That's why being a sales rep for a funeral home isn't a bad idea.

I use to have this client of mine that came into the salon... I thought he was BS'ing me. Said he worked at a funeral home. I said what do you do?? He said I'm a funeral director. At first it scared me a little. But when he explained to me the process... I was like wow... Another billion dollar industry in the USA. Some of the facts he told me... how he makes more $$$$

    1. When selling the vault that the casket goes into... during burial... he gives you 3 selections... Best, good, avg. What he doesn't explain to you... is that ALL VAULTS crack under the ground. So when he's selling this to deceased person's family member... you're already confused and in sorrow. His sales pitch is... "Now, this "BEST" vault is more than likely designed to make sure the casket never receives any moisture. You wouldn't want your loved one experiencing this... now would you?" He said he makes an extra $1,000 for the funeral home just by selling the BEST VAULT over the AVG Vault.

Wow, I had no idea, that's just crazy. I bet they cleanup big time, especially with the stress that most people are under in that situation, and not wanting to disgrace the situation or anything.

I told my wife to just donate my body to a university's medical school as a cadaver.

No doubt. When you're young and you watch your family members pass away... you see how pretty everything looks etc. You're not counting numbers in your head as in $$$$$$$.

When you get older... you're like fuk this sh#$. I'm going out in a blaze of glory. You totally GET life when you age. And once this funeral director explained everything to me... I was like... sh#$ I thought buying a car was a hassle. You guys are bloodsuckers.

He also explained to me that the wood and or material for the caskets is priced differently. Naturally... marked up. But here is the funny thing.

They have caskets that are for burial use only. And caskets for cremation only. I said what?!!?!?!? I said explain this again??? He said... The material has to be combustible if you want to be cremated. We can't put a nice looking $15,000 casket in that oven. I said you can't? He goes hell no. Then I said to myself... why the hell would you buy a $15,000 casket to burn it anyways??? That would be stupid!!! But I found out... people do!!!

I said... what if someone wants a nice ceremony in an expensive casket and they want to be cremated?? Do you move the body into another combustible casket? He said ABSOLUTELY NOT!! We don't touch the body once it's placed in a casket. I said what's the most expensive combustible casket you sell if someone wanted to be cremated??? He said $10,000. I said what's the cheapest? He said $800 Unreal.

Back in the mid 80's she went behind Johnny's back and signed with another network that would put her in direct competition with Carson's show right after Carson made her his permanent guest host of The Tonight Show which is about the most prestigious hosting gig anyone could hope for.

going on tour and writing about her story, because I couldn't stand her rank foul mouth. RIP Joan, hope you went to the light.

Found her vile and repulsive. Maybe that was just her act though and she was a nicer person off the screen than she was on. Although, judging from the ampunt of work she had done id say that wasnt so.

Death cant come quick enough for some and im sure shes in a better place now...

She made a living being mean to people that were down and out. That's not funny. That's not talent. No idea why she is being celebrated. She seemed to be an awful woman.

Her humor was cheap and the expense of the vulnerable. The only time I found her funny was when she was balling her eyes out at the media when comedians were making jokes about her husband committing suicide. She was complaining about how everyone was so mean. The irony was completely lost on her.
