Heard True Detective is good, but idk why, I'm not really interested in watching it. Maybe I am a 100% wrong, but sounds like a better CSI or something.

True Detective is dope, should give it a go man. People like the Leftovers, not a big fan. Only show I follow now is Under the Dome, but it is a bit corny at times.

The Leftovers sounds strange, don't know what to do with it.
Under the Dome seems to have an interesting scenario to begin with. I like it. Don't know if it's any good, but at least I like the initial story.

CSI and True Detective have zero in common. Just watch it, you'll be glad you did.
Never heard of it before you two mentioned it. Doesn't sound too shabby. What genre is it though? Seems like the story has potential to be a good comedy show, but I guess that's not what it is?

Damn, if a few more say things like that, I might actually give it a shot.
What I was trying to say with the CSI comparison was more like: When I read what it is about I thought: Well, sounds like it's cool for 5 episodes and after that you think "ok, again this thing....". Plus: is it really a series? Or is it more like a mini-film each episode and it is not necessary to watch episode 1-5 to understand episode 6? I may be totally wrong here.
McConaughey's performance alone makes it worthwhile and Alexandra Daddario's boobs.

I always hated McConaughey, can't really say why, I just dislike the guy. But I gotta admit: The older he gets, the better he gets. Dallas Buyers Club f.e. was a great film, and I wasn't even interested in seeing it at first, the girl beat me to it.
All good suggestions in here except Under the Dome. Started out decent then plummeted, pretty awful now.

I like the story as I said, but I have a feeling like this may play out like LOST. Lost was a cool series to begin with and went downhill with every new season, didn't even finish it, stopped watching after a while.
