    I'm born and bred in Boston and I do my very best to conceal it because it sounds flat out stupid. Hate it even more than the annoying NY accent which pains me to say. I only let down my guard when Im with my buddies or drunk.

    An accent from Maine (for example) is WAY different from a Boston one so the New England category is a poor one. BY FAR THE MOST annoying accent is a Boston one!

    A large misconception about Canadian s is that they say aboot instead of about and they say ruff instead of roof. This only happens on the east coast (newfoundland, nova scotia) and is not conducive with the rest of Canada
