Vinyl making a huge comeback in the music market
I have said for years that vinyl sounds better than any other medium. I own a Wurlitzer juke box loaded with 45's. A while back you needed to buy used or some, very limited, new pressings. Now many companies are starting to make and distribute vinyl in 7 inch and larger long playing. I just purchased a Frank Sinatra new pressing and expect it to be delivered today. He may have been a bit of an asshole but that guy was able to sing imo he will always be the king.
Hey guy yeah ive noticed that aswell,actually the other day I was at the mall and they were selling record playerrs. Its cool to see the old classics never die.

Philly got banned alittle while ago,cant remember what for excatly.
They have been making a comeback since the mid '00's when the CD faded away with virgin vinyl new pressings. Some packages contain the vinyl as well as a coupon to DL the mp3s. Congrats with your purchase.

Yeah, I wish I had my old 45's and albums when I was a kid. Too stupid to keep them, now I am paying more for them then I did then. lol
45 cost as little as 89 cents.

Some, not many. Mostly rock and roll from the 60's. Beatles, B Darin, some bubble gum, but my favorite had to be doo wop and soul including sounds from Detroit, NY and Philly.
I bet alot of that stuff must be worth some doe know.

Yeah some of it is worth a little, I bought a book about that.
My dad has a nice collection aswell,have you ever heard of Richie Valens.
Joan Osborne backed up by the Funk Brothers, if you never saw that documentary about them you should watch it as soon as possible. Greatest back up band ever.
Oh sure, he died with a couple other great singers.

Yeah the great Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper. There was a movie called LaBamba based on Valens life story,check it out if you ever get a chance.
Back up band for almost every great MoTown group. Some of them still alive and playing, just amazing. I believe they played on more hits than any other band ever, pretty sure about that. Unbelievably talented and flawed, drugs and booze. Watch it

Okay my friend, if you like MoTown, soul or even jazz you will love that show. Even if you don't it is a great human interest story, interviews of the actual people involved. Some white some black and then Joan Osborne singing like an angel also. Okay ttyl, be well.
Oh did you, it was good eh!. It would have been amazing to think what Buddy Holly could have accomplished had he lived on,crazy how many young singers died young back in the day,these days its quite rare.

Yeah you would think so but we have W Houston, Michael Jackson and a few others if I could remember. But that was a plane crash, also Patsy Cline I believe died in plane crash young too. Today it is drugs and booze killing them.
I sold a 7 inch of die antwoord on ebay that I had for $300, they had only made 1,000 of them
most old albums aint worth shit
right almost all of them are worth very little, however if you are lucky enough to have some of the early Beatles in good shape both cover and record, we are talking about many thousands. The white album I believe is one, and others too. Not only Beatles but some of the other 60 and 70 bands. Even some 45 are worth a little. But like you said most are next to worthless. You can buy a book telling you what is what with 45 and albums.
I have an album from my parents that is going for 3 or 4 hundred on Ebay. I will not sell it though, mom and dad are gone so I have that to remember them. I play their old records once in a while and it brings me back to when they were alive. If you have your parents treasure every minute with them, because some day most likely they will only be memories. And it comes sooner than you would think.
