Every week few weeks there is a race/gender/sexuality/etc. issue that everyone decides to get offended over for a week or two until the next one comes up. Then the media and public figures trip over themselves trying to out-outrage each other in hopes they don't get labeled a racist or bigot. My guess is that its going to be the media outrage when Michael Sam doesn't get drafted until the later rounds. If he doesn't go in the top 3 rounds the media will say the NFL is bigoted against gays. And whoever does draft him, the media will say that there are 31 bigoted teams in the NFL who passed him up probably because they are uncomfortable with gays. But I guarantee you when Sam gets drafted, even if its in the 7th round, a bunch of GMs and owners from teams behind the team that drafted him in the draft order will say "DAMN! WE WERE GOING TO TAKE HIM BUT HE GOT PICKED!" whether or not they actually planned to, to avoid media criticism.
